HELP WANTED
The Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office, Jail and House of Correction has an immediate opening for a full time (40 hour/wk) IT TECHNICIAN.
Salary Range: $71,190.15 to $88,048.46.
Associates Degree in CIS or equivalent experience, and 3-5 years experience with Windows System Administration (understanding domains, trusts and policy). Knowledge of Windows Server 2016, Server 2019, Windows 10 and 11; Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, User and Group Management, system administration including MS Exchange and SQL Server; knowledge of routing and switching, knowledge of Windows command line tools: Power Shell, Scripting, Task Automation and knowledge of common office devices such as printers and copiers.
Full state benefit package including life, health, dental and vision insurance, deferred compensation plan, flexible spending account, generous paid leave plans, tuition remission at state colleges, vesting in State Retirement Plan after 10 years of service, annual step increases, and the following education incentive annually (after completion of one year probationary period) in addition to annual wages:
Associates Degree – $2,000.00
Bachelors Degree – $2,500.00
Masters Degree – $4,400.00
