On Tuesday January 9th 2018 the American Legion Riders of Berkshire County held their 3rd annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Ceremony at the American Legion in Dalton. Twice a year the club organizes rides in support of veterans assistance programs. Local police, sheriffs, and state troopers assist with keeping the riders safe through out the ride so in return the club wants to say “Thank You” to the Law Enforcement community for their help.
Attending the ceremony was Sheriff Bowler, members of the Dalton and Hinsdale Police Departments, Massachusetts State Police Troopers from the Lee and Cheshire Barracks and members of the American Legion Riders. Presenting the Certificates of Appreciation was President of the club Michael Lefebvre and Road Captain Neil Raymond.
